I am running for the Arkansas House District 5 seat because I believe our community deserves a representative who leads with integrity, accountability, and service. As a Marine veteran, husband, father of two, and future teacher, I know firsthand the challenges families in Boone County and North Arkansas face — from rising crime and drugs, to the need for strong schools, to the everyday struggle of making a paycheck stretch further.
I’m not a career politician. I’m a neighbor who believes that faith, family, and fiscal responsibility should guide the way we govern. My mission is simple: protect our freedoms, keep our communities safe, and make sure the next generation has the chance to thrive right here at home.
Safe Communities
Drugs and crime are among the biggest challenges facing Boone County and North Arkansas. I will stand firmly with law enforcement and strengthen families, churches, and recovery programs. Safety comes through accountability, prevention, and hope.
How I’ll Accomplish This:
- Support legislation to increase resources for county sheriffs and local police.
- Push for tougher penalties on fentanyl and drug trafficking.
- Expand drug courts and recovery programs to break the addiction cycle.
- Partner with churches and nonprofits to help families stay strong.
Strong Families & Education
As a husband, father, and future teacher, I know how important strong families and schools are to our future. I support parental rights, empowering teachers, and keeping education local.
How I’ll Accomplish This:
- Defend parental choice and transparency in schools.
- Promote vocational training and trades so kids have local opportunities.
- Back legislation that raises teacher pay fairly while demanding accountability.
- Oppose political agendas in the classroom — keep focus on reading, math, history, and real-world skills.
Fiscal Responsibility
Government must live within its means, just like Arkansas families. I will fight to protect taxpayers, support small business, and cut waste.
How I’ll Accomplish This:
- Support balanced budget laws and oppose new wasteful spending.
- Push for tax relief — especially for property owners and small businesses.
- Advocate for cutting red tape that holds back growth.
- Ensure every dollar is spent with transparency and accountability.
Jobs, Small Business & Agriculture
Our economy depends on small businesses, farms, and creating opportunity so young people can stay in North Arkansas.
How I’ll Accomplish This:
- Support vocational and technical training programs in our schools.
- Reduce tax burdens and regulations on small businesses.
- Protect family farms from unfair taxes and outside overreach.
- Champion local business incentives to keep jobs in Boone County.
Veterans & Community Service
As a Marine veteran, I know the sacrifices that come with service. I will ensure veterans get the benefits they deserve and bring service-focused leadership to Little Rock.
How I’ll Accomplish This:
- Work to expand access to VA healthcare and benefits in North Arkansas.
- Create incentives for businesses to hire and support veterans.
- Promote legislation that helps veterans with mental health and housing needs.
- Lead with the values I learned in the Marine Corps: discipline, accountability, integrity.
Faith, Family & Values
My faith guides every decision I make. I will defend life, religious freedom, and traditional values that strengthen our families and communities.
How I’ll Accomplish This:
- Support pro-life legislation and defend the unborn.
- Protect religious liberty for churches, families, and small business owners.
- Encourage policies that support strong families and parental rights.
- Model integrity in public service — doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
Constitutional Freedoms
I will always defend the Second Amendment and fight government overreach. Arkansans, not Washington politicians, should decide what’s best for our families and schools.
How I’ll Accomplish This:
- Oppose any legislation that restricts gun rights of law-abiding citizens.
- Support constitutional carry and firearm training programs.
- Push back against federal mandates that harm Arkansas families.
- Keep government decisions local and accountable to the people.
Conclusion: A Vision for the Future
Arkansas is strongest when we stay true to our values: safe neighborhoods, strong families, responsible spending, and a commitment to service. I’m ready to fight for these values every day at the State Capitol on behalf of the people of District 5.
Together, we can build a future where Harrison and Boone County are not only safe and prosperous, but also a place where our children and grandchildren can proudly build their lives. I ask for your trust, your support, and your vote as we work to make that vision a reality.
