One of the most important issues of our time is the value of human life. As a follower of Christ, I believe that every life is created by God, in His image, with purpose and dignity. From the very moment of conception, a child is not a “potential life,” but a living human being.
For too long, the debate over abortion has been framed as political strategy. Incremental measures have been celebrated as victories, but the reality is clear: abortion still happens, and innocent children continue to lose their lives. I believe it is time to move beyond compromise and take a firm stand for the abolition of abortion.
Why Abolish Abortion?
- Because life begins at conception. This is not only a biblical truth but a scientific one. Every child has DNA, a heartbeat, and humanity from the very start.
- Because justice requires it. If we believe life is sacred, then we must protect it without exception. No child should be denied their God-given right to live.
- Because halfway measures are not enough. Restrictions may limit abortion, but they do not end it. True justice requires complete abolition.
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness
Our nation was founded on the principle that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” These words from the Declaration of Independence (1776) are not merely a statement of values—they are a recognition of God-given rights that no government has the authority to deny.
If we truly believe in these unalienable rights, then we must affirm that the unborn are equally entitled to them. Without life, there can be no liberty or pursuit of happiness. Protecting the unborn is not only a biblical mandate but also a fulfillment of the very ideals upon which our country was founded.

Supporting Mothers and Families
Being pro-life is not only about ending abortion—it’s about supporting life. Abolition must be accompanied by compassion:
- Ensuring that women and families have access to real resources, counseling, and community support.
- Strengthening adoption and foster care systems.
- Encouraging churches and local organizations to step up as the hands and feet of Christ.
A Biblical Mandate
Scripture calls us to “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed” (Proverbs 31:8). The unborn cannot defend themselves, but we can. To remain silent or to settle for compromise is to abandon the most vulnerable among us.
On Medical Exceptions
I define abortion as the intentional ending of a human life from the moment of conception. Every child is created by God and deserves protection. However, there are rare medical cases, such as ectopic pregnancies, where the child cannot survive and the mother’s life is at serious risk. These situations are not elective abortions, but tragic medical emergencies where doctors must act to save the mother.
Protecting life means valuing both mother and child—always pursuing viability when possible, but recognizing that in some rare circumstances, intervention is necessary to preserve life.

As your representative for District 5, I will stand for life without compromise. I will support legislation that seeks to abolish abortion completely in Arkansas and work to ensure that our laws reflect the truth that every child is a precious gift from God.
This is not a matter of politics—it is a matter of righteousness, justice, and obedience to God. Faith, family, and the future of our nation depend on our willingness to defend life.
