Key Issues Facing Arkansas House District 5

Our Path Forward

Boone County deserves leadership rooted in service, integrity, and common sense. As a Marine veteran, husband, father, and future teacher, I’m running to protect our families, strengthen our schools, respect taxpayers, honor our veterans, defend our freedoms, and build a future our kids can be proud of. These six pillars guide my work for District 5:

3) Fiscal Responsibility

Boone County families live on a budget—government should too. I’ll fight wasteful spending, push for transparency, protect taxpayers, and cut red tape that slows small businesses and farms. Stewardship of the people’s money isn’t a slogan; it’s a duty.

6) Protecting Liberty & Constitutional Rights

I’ll defend the Second Amendment, safeguard religious freedom, and push back against federal overreach into our homes, churches, and schools. Our rights don’t come from government—they’re protected by it. I’ll stand firm.

1) Safe Communities

Families should feel secure at home, at church, and in our schools. With property crime and dangerous drugs like fentanyl on the rise, I’ll stand with law enforcement to ensure they have the tools, training, and support they need—while expanding recovery programs that break addiction’s grip. Safety is the foundation of opportunity.

4) Veterans & Community Service

Arkansas is home to more than 200,000 veterans who deserve timely care, strong benefits, and real pathways to good jobs. I’ll work to expand rural access to services, encourage veteran hiring, and strengthen mental-health and transition support—leading with the integrity and accountability I learned as a Marine NCO.

2) Strong Families & Education

Parents deserve a real voice in their children’s education, and teachers deserve the support to focus on what matters. Starting in middle school, we should help students discover their strengths, pair them with mentors, and offer elective pathways—trades, finance, civics, healthcare, tech—that lead to real jobs. Let’s get back to basics (reading, math, history, critical thinking) and graduate young people ready for adult life.

5) A Future for the Next Generation

Too many young people leave because they can’t see a future here. I’ll prioritize safe neighborhoods, strong schools, trade and apprenticeship opportunities, small-business growth, and protection for family farms—so our kids can stay, work, and raise their families in Boone County.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why are you running for the Arkansas House, District 5?

A: I’m running because Boone County deserves leadership rooted in service, integrity, and accountability. As a Marine veteran, husband, father, and future teacher, I want to fight for safer communities, stronger schools, responsible spending, and a brighter future for the next generation.

Q: Where do you stand on education?

A: I believe schools should prepare students for real life. That means defending parental rights, empowering teachers, and offering electives that connect to careers. Starting as early as 6th grade, students should explore their interests, learn fiscal responsibility and civics, and be equipped to succeed whether they choose trades, entrepreneurship, or higher education

Q. How are you different than others in your race?

A: I’m not a career politician. I’m a Marine veteran who understands discipline and accountability, a father raising two kids here, and a future teacher who knows firsthand what our schools and families need. I bring real-world experience and the values of service and integrity to every decision.

Q: How do you plan to manage taxes and government spending?

A: Families live on a budget—government should too. I will cut waste, demand transparency, protect taxpayers, and reduce red tape for small businesses and farms. Every dollar belongs to the people, and I will treat it with that respect.

Q: How can I support your campaign?

A: There are many ways to get involved! You can volunteer your time, attend events, share our message with neighbors, or donate to help us reach more voters. Every effort makes a difference.
