The 2026 elections are more than just another cycle — they are an opportunity to choose leaders who reflect the values of Boone County and North Arkansas. Our vote is our voice, and now more than ever, we need representatives who will stand for faith, family, and fiscal responsibility while addressing the real challenges facing our community.

I am running for Arkansas House District 5 because I believe it’s time for servant leadership rooted in integrity. As a Marine veteran, husband, father of two, and future teacher, I know firsthand the struggles our families face: the rising impact of drugs and crime, the pressure of stretching paychecks, and the need to make sure our schools prepare the next generation.

Who is Copeland?

Copeland is a Marine Corps veteran, husband, and father of two who has proudly made Boone County his home. Serving as a 6156 Tiltrotor Airframe Mechanic in the U.S. Marine Corps, he learned discipline, accountability, and the importance of leadership under pressure. Those lessons shaped not only his military career but also his life as a family man, student of criminal justice, and future teacher. Grounded in his faith and commitment to integrity, Copeland believes that real leadership means serving others with honesty and responsibility.

Unlike career politicians, Copeland isn’t running for office to climb a ladder — he’s stepping up because he believes it’s time for a new generation of leaders in Arkansas. His priorities reflect the challenges he sees every day in Boone County: tackling the rise of drugs and crime, supporting families and schools, protecting taxpayers’ money, and ensuring veterans receive the benefits they’ve earned. Above all, Copeland is committed to building a safe, strong, and prosperous community where the next generation can thrive.

A Vision for Change

Copeland’s vision for 2026 is clear and grounded in the values of Boone County. My goal is to build a community where families are safe, schools prepare our kids for success, taxpayers’ money is respected, and veterans receive the honor and support they’ve earned. I believe in protecting constitutional freedoms, standing with law enforcement, and ensuring our children have a future right here at home.

By focusing on these critical areas, Copeland aims to create a brighter future for everyone.

The Power of Community Engagement

Real change doesn’t come from politicians behind closed doors — it comes from neighbors working together, families speaking up, and communities standing strong. As someone who has served in the Marine Corps and is now raising a family here in Boone County, I believe that the best ideas don’t come from Little Rock or Washington, but from the people who live, work, and worship right here at home.

That’s why my campaign is built on listening first. I plan to hold town halls, meet with local leaders, and stay actively engaged with schools, churches, businesses, and veterans’ groups. By hearing directly from the people I serve, I can ensure every decision I make reflects the needs and values of our community. Engagement isn’t just about politics — it’s about building trust, strengthening families, and giving every citizen a voice in shaping our future.

Real-Life Impact

Policy isn’t about abstract numbers or headlines — it’s about how decisions affect families right here in Boone County. I’ve spoken with parents who worry about drugs reaching our schools, teachers who struggle to provide resources for their classrooms, and veterans who face too many barriers when trying to access the benefits they’ve earned. These aren’t distant problems — they are challenges our neighbors face every single day.

Our law enforcement officers are also on the front lines of this crisis. In Boone County and across Arkansas, officers are increasingly at risk of being exposed or even dosed with unknown substances like fentanyl during traffic stops or arrests. A tiny amount can be life-threatening, and every day they put themselves in harm’s way to keep us safe.

That’s why my campaign is focused on practical solutions with local impact. Supporting law enforcement and expanding recovery programs will help reduce the property crime rate, which currently runs 67% above the national average in Boone County

Why Your Vote Matters

Every election is more than just names on a ballot — it’s a decision about the kind of community we want to build for our families and future generations. In District 5, your vote is your voice to demand safer neighborhoods, stronger schools, responsible government spending, and leaders who put service before politics.

For too long, career politicians have been more concerned with holding power than solving problems. I am running because I believe it’s time for a new generation of leadership — one rooted in faith, integrity, and accountability. Your vote matters because together we can fight the drug crisis, support our teachers, protect taxpayers, honor our veterans, and create a community where our children and grandchildren can thrive. One vote might feel small, but when neighbors stand together, we can bring about lasting change for Boone County and Arkansas.

Getting Involved

This campaign is about more than one person — it’s about neighbors coming together to shape the future of District 5. Every voice matters, and your involvement can make a real difference in building safer communities, stronger families, and a brighter tomorrow.

Ways you can get involved:

Together, through service and community, we can make sure District 5 has a leader who reflects our values of faith, family, and integrity.

The Road Ahead

The challenges we face in Boone County and across District 5 are real — rising drug crime, families stretched thin by inflation, and schools struggling to prepare the next generation. But I believe the road ahead is filled with opportunity if we choose leaders who serve with integrity, accountability, and faith.

As we move toward the 2026 elections, my focus will remain on listening to our community, fighting for safer neighborhoods, protecting taxpayers, and ensuring our children have a future right here at home. This campaign is just the beginning — together, we can build a stronger District 5, grounded in our values and ready for the future.

A Call to Action

The future of Boone County and District 5 will be decided by the choices we make today. We cannot afford to sit on the sidelines while drugs threaten our neighborhoods, families struggle to make ends meet, and career politicians ignore the values that make Arkansas strong.

I am ready to serve — but I cannot do it alone. I need your voice, your support, and your vote. Together, we can build safer communities, strengthen our schools, protect taxpayers, and honor the sacrifices of our veterans.

Now is the time to get involved: volunteer, share our message, and most importantly, make your voice heard at the ballot box in 2026. With faith, family, and integrity guiding us, we can create a future that our children and grandchildren will be proud to inherit.
