Service Before Status

I am the only candidate in this race who signed up to risk my life for this country.
Like many of our Founding Fathers, I took an oath to defend the freedoms that we all enjoy today.
Service — not status — has always been my foundation.

I didn’t step forward to build a career in politics; I stepped forward because I believe leadership means putting others before yourself.

A Life of Hard Work

Here in Harrison and across District 5, we’re hardworking people. Many of us have spent time in our local factories, our stores, or our restaurants.
I’m proud to say I’ve lived that life right alongside my neighbors.

I’ve worked in fast food, hauled lumber at Wabash while working second shift in the yard through freezing winters and scorching summers, and clocked shifts at Johnson’s Plastics — where long hours and sharp molds meant sliced fingers and sore hands were just part of the job.

I’ve experienced the worry of asking myself, “How am I going to afford to keep the heat on?” while working 60-hour weeks just to make ends meet.
I know what it feels like to be tired, proud, and still pushing forward — because that’s the story of so many families right here in District 5.

Faith-Tested Perseverance

I may be the youngest candidate in this race, but I take that as an honor — not a disadvantage.
When our Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, most of them were young men themselves. Thomas Jefferson was 33, James Madison 25, and Alexander Hamilton 21. They didn’t wait for comfort or status; they acted out of conviction and faith in something greater than themselves.

My own convictions were tested during my time in the United States Marine Corps, especially when I was faced with the choice to obey orders or stand firm on conscience. When the COVID-19 vaccine mandate came down, I refused it on grounds of faith and conviction. I knew that choice could cost me my career, but I also knew that freedom means little if we aren’t willing to stand by our beliefs when it matters most.

Like those young men who risked everything for liberty, I believe courage and faith must guide leadership — not comfort or conformity. That experience strengthened my resolve to fight for religious liberty, medical freedom, and the constitutional rights of every American — not just when it’s convenient, but when it’s costly. I learned firsthand that real leadership means standing alone when necessary and trusting God with the outcome.

Respect for Every Candidate

Let me be clear — this statement isn’t meant to tear down my fellow candidates.
Success in any field is hard. Running a business is hard.
Being a pastor is a calling that deserves full respect and commitment.
I have nothing but respect for anyone willing to serve their community.

But my journey has been different. My path has been through service, hard work, and lived experience — not political positioning.

Why I’m Running

I’m not here to play politics; I’m here to restore faith, trust, and accountability in our government.
The people of District 5 deserve a representative who understands their struggles because he’s lived them — and who fights for their future because he’s part of it.
